It appears someone was really disappointed there was no pic of Sarah Palin in a lesbian kiss...

I deleted Sally's comment since it not only was the same comment as Fred's but in fact was the same person. Identical IP addresses and fake email address format... Some people have to much time on their hands if they need to post a fake comment agreeing with their original comment.

We should never the less support gender confused people. :-)

Oh, you are loser and your comment was moronic...

What I love the most about naive right wingers is there staunch support of their pro life ( anti Choice) position, what a noble cause until you put the person in a uniform then their all Pro War. What a paradox. How is that you can be so Pro Life at a time in a persons life then so complacent about that life continuing at a later time. Conservatives have it all figured out don't they. You make so much sense that I'm changing my party affiliation to the GW party. May God bless G.W. and may he continue to be the hallowed emblem to the reat of the world, what a great nation the USA is and was especially under his glorious leadership. My tongue is in my cheek.

Wow, that was a insightful statement.

Don't get too excited, everything I say is insightful.

Yeesh. At this rate you'll keel over waaay B4 I get banned.

but since only conservative Republicans think Palin [sic] is something

You seem to be a fairly intelligent person so I have to assume that you're in some sort of denial. It doesn't take much effort at all to completely invalidate this statement by finding a poll indicating a broad shift by independents* to McCain since the Palin announcement.

I do think the left is running really scared these days.

*real independents, not just those who claim to be independent

I said the world and you listed these countries?

Russia and China don't count? Would you feel safer with Bolivia or perhaps Lybia calling the shots for us?

Oh wait. When you say "world" you were probably only thinking about counties like France, Germany, and England.

Wouldn't want them in charge either.

lol.

You must have missed the Obama world tour of Jordan, Israel, Germany, France, England and others where he was getting huge crowds cheering him on.

Actually that was exactly my point. Doesn't at least a part of you think that he would feel more at home running for president of Europe?

First wom[e]n usually are not only thinking about themselves when they chose to end a pregnancy.

First, it's impossible to know what someone is thinking at any given moment so this statement is just an opinion. Second, the fact that the vast majority of abortions performed in this country are elective gives the strong implication that they are done as a matter of convenience.

That’s a bad example anyway since you do know sometimes pro-life conservatives have abortions, yes?

Of course they do. Some conservatives are pro abortion too. I myself support abortion when the life of the mother is at risk and in cases of rape and incest.

There are no absolutes to this issue and I have no idea why you made this comment so I guess the short reply to it is: "So what?".

It’s shocking but most pro-choice people are against abortion.

I've never met anyone in my life who said they were in favor of killing babies in the womb... least of all a politician. I once heard the president of Planned Parenthood herself proclaim that "We are all against abortion".

The old axiom "Actions speak louder than words" applies rather aptly here. Assuming someone isn't a liar then if they truly don't support abortion then they should support efforts to ristrict it.

I would never feel guilty in supporting someone’s right to choose.

Well here's a question for you then: At what point does abortion become infantacide?

The religious right will tell you that it's any time after conception. At what point is it for you?

If a woman "chooses" to abort her child after she's lost her water and just as the childs head is beginning to emerge is that something you support without any reservations?

Sorry to be so graphic but the current state of the law allows abortion right up to the point where the head fully emerges (and that's only because it hasn't been tested further, some have argued that the baby must draw its first breath).

And before you say those situations are rare, one doctor in Kansas performs 1,500 partial birth abortions (excuse me...) late term abortions each year.

"You're half right, liberals don't think."

Wow, that was a insightful statement.

"Actually I think Soldier in Iraq said the world want's to see Sarah."

I know he did but since only conservative Republicans think she is something that must have been his definition of the world.

"Riiight. That wasn't partisan liberal pablum at all. Russia, China, North Korea, Venzuela, Syria, Cuba, Iran... perfect examples of countries that have the only best interests of America at heart."

I said the world and you listed these countries? Why should they have the interests of America at heart anyway? You must have missed the Obama world tour of Jordan, Israel, Germany, France, England and others where he was getting huge crowds cheering him on. McCain would be lucky to draw 1/10 of the crowd Obama did and this what I based the world on wanting to see a change in leadership in America. Yes, it does matter...

"The sad truth is that liberals tend to think about themselves a lot more than they likee to admit. The right to abort a pregnancy is a perfect example since a majority of abortions are elective. So you fight for the right of a woman to kill her pre-born child because she chooses to.

Doesn’t that make you feel the least bit guilty?"

First woman usually are not only thinking about themselves when they chose to end a pregnancy. That's a bad example anyway since you do know sometimes pro-life conservatives have abortions, yes? People fight to have the right to choose and not on behalf of any of the options. It's shocking but most pro-choice people are against abortion themselves.

I would never feel guilty in supporting someone's right to choose.

"I didn’t agree with the Iraq war and think that it was a mistake. At the same time, it wasn’t started for an evil purpose (at least one that can be proven) so once the decision has been made I support success in Iraq."

The war was started based on reasoning that were at best misleading. The result most certainly was evil since 100,000 or so Iraqis are dead and over 4,000 American troops.

"Like you I’d like to have seen Bush impeached three years ago. I’m sure you agree with me that Cheney would have been a much better president."

People who support impeachment wanted to start with Cheney first then George.

To the soilder in Iraq. First thanks for your service to the country. Now allow to blow your mind. McCain voted against every veterins benefit bill in the last eight years. So did your President Bush, "saying they were too costly". Obama voted to increaase your benefits every time. So go ahead vote for McCain. But when you return to the States remember McCain did not think you were worth it. Don't beleive me, go on veterans sites that rate McCain against Obama and you will see that Obama gets an A- while McCain gets a D. By the way it was Bush who when asked, if Iran is our enemy why do we keep sending them jet aircraft parts, replied "profit trumps peace".

I never said a WORD about conservatives. So NO, it wasn’t a blanket statement. Assumptions, Assumptions. Tisk tisk!
If I wanted to say something about conservatives, I would have. I was only speaking for liberals in this case.
--------------------------------------------
Nope, sorry but you can't have it both ways. One doesn't need to directly refer to a group in order to generalize about them by implication.

If, for example, one were to substitute the words "white people" for the word "liberals" in your remark (making it "white people think, they just don't only think about THEMSELVES") it would be perfectly logical for the reader to assume that to be a racist comment against minorities wouldn't it?

In any case, leaving the sentence as it stands still makes it a broad generalization (technically two) about liberals (a generalization in iteself) which, of course, was the point of my argument ITFP.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if his approval rating in the US has set record lows, it ripples through out the world.
-------------------------------------
Sadly, however, in the world of politics it might take one to figure out why. Do you think, for example, that if they were available at the time that opinion polls in Germany might have favored the election of Neville Chamberlain over Oswald Mosley?

*I think that Jerry Springer would have been a much bette[sic]r president
---------------------------------------
Perhaps, but in line of succession he's probably #900,000,000 or so...

————————————-
Sadly, however, in the world of politics it might take one to figure out why. Do you think, for example, that if they were available at the time that opinion polls in Germany might have favored the election of Neville Chamberlain over Oswald Mosley?

*I think that Jerry Springer would have been a much bette[sic]r president
—————————————
Perhaps, but in line of succession he’s probably #900,000,000 or so…
